Be a Friend of the Farm

 First Farm Day

Saturday March 19

9am 

Many of our guests have expressed their appreciation for what we are doing here at Van Till Farms and have asked us how they can be a part. Here is how you can be involved!

 

You can be a Friend of the Farm.

A "Farm Friend" will agree to help out at the farm, in some capacity, at least 8 hrs in a year. They will receive a cap and a t-shirt, special discounts not offered to the public, and priority notice of new products and wine releases.

Projects include planting, establishing walkways through the flower gardens, building a garden wall, and maintaining the farmscape.

 

We will organize work days, or parts of days, with specific projects to accomplish.

The "Farm Friends" will be notified, and if their schedules permit, can come out and join us.

We will have a great meal together on the patio and relax at the end.

 

This will be a great chance to make new friends and have a lot of fun while working in the country with great people!

My father always said "work awhile, play awhile" when my siblings and I had a lot of work to do, so that is what we want to do here at the farm!  

 

Our First Farm Day will be this Saturday, March 19

beginning at 9am.

We will be sampling new pizzas for lunch!

After several years of selling at the KC River Market we have decided that it is time to bring that phase of our business to a close. We want to thank our loyal customers at the market for your support. We invite those who can, to come and see what we have developed here at the farm.

Our winery has several new wines to offer this summer and we offer  signature sandwiches and farm crafted salads during the week and wood-fired oven pizza on the patio on Saturday afternoons as well as Friday nights. The greenhouses will be producing lots of fresh salad ingredients to compliment your pizza, and the expansive farmscape continues to become more beautiful each year, and beckons you to come, relax, and enjoy, the wonderful, peaceful setting in the country.  

 

We plan to continue making our baked goods available

fresh and frozen, so call ahead to see what's cooking!
