Capturing the Rain Water Project

Weather permitting we begin building berms to divert rain from washing out our driveway after heavy rains. The water that doesn't soak into the berms will feed into two new rain gardens along the highway.

Monday May 23rd
Gospel Bluegrass - The Wintons
5:00pm till 6:30pm

The Wintons are passing thru Rayville, on Monday on their way to participate in the bluegrass festival at Silver Dollar City. Free Admission and a Freewill Offering for their support. Pizza will be available for purchase prior to the concert from 5pm-6:30! Bring the whole family and make a night of it!

Annual Plant Sale
9:00am till 5:00pm

If you have enjoyed the perennials, grasses and willows in the garden and on the patio, now is the time to get a few to plant in your home. Perennials and annuals that we have tested and grown here on the farm will be available at this sale. Favorite and tested tomato plants and bedding and container annuals will be available also.

Kevin Hiatt on Steel Guitar 6-9pm

On the 16th, from 6-9 pm we will be welcoming Kevin Hiatt to the patio www.kevinhiattmusic.com for an evening of world class steel guitar. He brings an inventive playing style to the six, seven and twelve string guitars. Plan to be here to delight in some amazing and unusual guitar music!

Our first Fall Plant Sale.

Many of our customers have asked about various plants growing in our landscape and Debbie is making cuttings of many of them, as well as the bulbs, available for sale. There will also be Dutch Oven Cooking and sampling demonstrations going on and the pizza oven will be hot! 10:00am-5:00pm

Big Band music comes to the Winery
The Overtones of Kansas City

All dressed up and nowhere to go? Well we've got an evening planned for you. The fifteen strong Kansas City Overtones are coming to the winery to bring two hours of Big Band swing music to the hills of Ray Co. Come out for dinner and the concert or just the concert, either way you're going to have a wonderful evening. A sirloin tip buffet dinner is only $12 and the concert is $5 per person. There will be a cash bar all evening and an a la carte dessert option during the intermission. Fall / Winter Fashion Show

The Fashion Show will begin at 7:00pm, but we will begin serving Pizza at 5:30pm. We will also have salad and desserts available throughout the evening. We encourage you to come out for the evening of pizza, fine wine and a chance to see the upcoming fashions.

We want to help you plan your winter wardrobe with a fashion show featuring Limmricks of Lexington. Come out and see what the winter fashion scene holds for you while you enjoy your favorite wines and hors d'oeuvres. Mingle with your friends and the models in the relaxed patio setting.

Oktoberfest
4:00pm till 9:00pm

First Annual Oktoberfest at Van Till Farm and Winery. Come and join the fun this Saturday from 4pm till 9pm. We will be serving our own homemade Bierocks, Various Bratwursts, German potato salad and sauerkraut, along with our own wines and local beers. There will be live accordion music throughout the evening. You can look forward to the same quality food and fun that you've come to expect at the Van Tills!
